(More customer reviews)I ordered this controller as a simple control for the uplights (mega bar 50's, and par 64 led's) that I use in my business. I wanted something quick and easy to set a color if I had a simple single color setup or had to flip to sound active later in the night. Well the controller is exactly what they say, SIMPLE BASIC and no bells and whistles. For what i was looking for i guess i'd have to say it will do those things. I did have my hopes the chases and sound active mode would play with the individual lights a little bit, but they all just flash and change colors the same, all the lights are controlled as one. I was a bit dissapointed in that, being all the lights have the same dmx address. Was it worth the $50 I guess for a basic pretty easy to figure out control, but wouldn't pay much mor for it. All and all it will suit some of my needs but will be opting for a new full function controller. If you have plans for more than just RGB color mixing, save the $50 and look for a true contoller. For basic control I guess it fits the bill.
