(More customer reviews)This lamp is made of sturdy black metal, and it clips onto the top of the stand securely. (Unless you're using a Wenger plastic music stand, or a stand with a rolled top edge, in which case this light won't fit on the stand at all.)
The problem is that the light is not adjustable and the bulb throws light only on the top three inches of the music! That's why I have decided to use a metal clip-on light in the future. It's not available from Amazon, but it is adjustable, it lights the whole page, and it will clip onto any brand of stand.
