E12 Candelabra Base bulb 12 Volt Landscaping Bulb, 1434WH Review

(More customer reviews)I know people reading this will immediately say "but it's your fault, don't give it a bad review for that!" but I am going to review my experience anyway.
I screwed the bulb into a fixture and flipped the switch and it went *pop*.
Because I didn't read closely that _it's a 12V_ and not 120V bulb. Don't let the E12 base fool you--this wont screw in where a chirstmas light fits and work properly--or at all.
Two stars. The pop was pretty good. The disapointment in wasting the money wasn't.

42mm High Power 6 SMD LED Festoon Dome Bulb White 12 Volt DC Review

I installed 2 of these as dome lights in my camping van. Good results. I used them to replace incandescent bulbs ASTM 211-2, which are slightly different than 1401's. Illumination/brightness is very good - roughly equal to the old incandescent bulbs. The light is very "white" compared to the old bulbs "yellow" hue. Current draw is only 0.13 amps, versus 0.9 amps for the old incandescent - this is an important and significant improvement for battery life in a camping/RV situation. These LEDs seem to be non-polarized; that is, they can be installed in either direction. I recommend these LEDs.

American Lighting 018-0003 Rope Lighting Kit with Mounting Clips, Clear, 10-Foot Review

(More customer reviews)After reviewing several distributors of 50ft rope lighting, this was what I wanted at a good price. The wiring is parallel, so one failed lamp does not black out the downstream lamps. (In fact, it survived one poorly aimed hammer blow with only 1 failed lamp.) The light is incandescent warm, not bothersome bright, but enough for accent lighting and navigation. We mounted it up on a trellis, where it is plenty of light for the dining table below (but I'd surround all 4 sides of the table). I looked at LCD lighting, but finally decided that it was too expensive.

(More customer reviews)I bought the led vs. the basic rope light for its ability to no get hot. The problem with the LED is it gives off a blue light especially against a white backdrop. If I had to do it all over again I would of bought a regular basic rope light.

(More customer reviews)Purchased this to use as over the cabinet "accent" lighting after researching a number of LED strips/panels. For the price I decided to try it as other kits sell for well over 5x this unit. Installation was a snap...drilled a hole on the top cabinet so the unit can be plugged into the over the range microwave's 110v outlet, secured the rope with heavy duty double sided tape along the wall/edge of cabinet top and finally put a manual switch in-line with the outlet. Although the light output is not bright enough to use as a primary light source, the output is very even and makes a nice light when it's dark and you just need to get things without turing on all the lights. Overall very pleased and have received numerous questions and accolades on the overall look. They do have "warmer" color temperature ropes that may match flourescent or incandescant lighting but I like the accent of the whiter light which is noticeable with other lights on.

(More customer reviews)So, this product was probably not intended to be used as a night light but that is exactly why my husband bought it. The night lights we plugged into the wall were too dim, we don't have room for a desk lamp, and we got tired of recharging and replacing the batteries for a little computer night light we were using. Our 2 month old sleeps on our bed in the middle of us and my husband actually put this rope of light around his crib that is next to us. The light is perfect. We leave it on all night and it doesn't get hot. Because it's a rope of lights, it illuminates the room nicely. We love it!
