(More customer reviews)This light is very bright. It is brighter than a mag light flash light. It will light up a big building a block a way. A must for any real mechanics box. The green light on the chargers ac plug is sopposed to turn green when charged but it was still red after 9 hours of first before use charge but was red and it would flash green when I wiggled the chargers wire I think it is just fine though.

I installed it, turned on my left turn signal & went to check it. Looked good, but still too fast for my car. No problem. I go back in the car, adjust it fully counter clockwise assuming that direction is for slower. Flip the left turn switch again, go to the back of my car to look.....NOTHING! I tried several times adjusting it trying to get it working (and the unit was HOT), but nothing. It had burned up.
Don't buy this unless you want to waste your time & money.

Tridon EP29 Flasher Review

(More customer reviews)I have a 2001 GMC Yukon and recently replaced the rear brake lights/turn signal lights with new LED light fixtures and replaced the front running lights/turn signal lights with new LED light fixtures. Since the new LED lights use less current, the original electro-mechanical flasher started to flash very rapidly falsely indicating that a light bulb was burned out. To fix this issue, you can install this Tridon EP29 Electronic Flasher which will provide normal speed flashing with your new LED light fixtures.
The original flasher is on the back side of the fuse panel which is not easy to reach. To get to it you will need to remove the lower kick panel below the steering column by removing the two bottom screws. You can pull out the panel on the left side just far enough to reach the flasher. To confirm that it's the flasher just turn on your ignition and turn on the turn signal. You should be able to hear and feel the clicking sound and vibration on the flasher. Please note that there is a retaining clip on the side facing you that must be released prior to removing the flasher. Don't worry there is not a retaining clip on the other side... just the one facing you.
Remove the original 4-pronged flasher and install the new EP29 flasher. Replace the lower kick panel and you're done. I had searched the entire internet for these instructions and could not find them so I was compelled to share my experience. By the way, I posted an updated picture of the product which has reference to LED on the unit. I noticed that the photo on the product did not have it listed. Happy flashing !!

PIAA 19520 Hyper Tera Evolution 168 Wedge Bulb Review

(More customer reviews)If you are crazy enough to spend near $100 like I did purchasing this Piaa 19520 Hyper Tera Evolution LED for your beloved car, please save yourself the disappointment and embarrassment this product brings.
Let me start by pointing out that I have had great experience for the past decade using various Piaa wedge bulbs including models 19172, 19283, and 19263. All have done their job as expected and lasted more than 2 years. However, this time I bought a new sports car with those really bright purple-colored HID xenon headlight and wanted to have matching color wedge bulbs that are also brighter than regular wedge bulbs (like those newer Audi front LED panels). So I purchased this 19520 twin pack directly from [...]. Each bulb is made up of 3 LED diodes, and covered by a very cheap toy-like plastic lens cover. When closely examining the bulbs, one quickly finds the quality of the material all over to be extremely low grade. At any rate, after reading the manual (and who actually read this stuff anyway?), I installed the bulbs wearing gloves and had minimum contact with the bulbs during installation. Tried out the new bulbs in the dark, they produced extremely bright and wide spread angle lighting at true 6000k color temperature. That is actually a purple color rather than blue or super white. It is probably borderline street legal depending on the cop's mood. All is good and I liked these bulbs very much even though I soon discovered that 6000k is actually more purplish than most HID xenon colors. Those are actually closer to 5500k in case you want to know.
4 months went by, one night I parked and got out of the car and noticed one of the LED bulb started flashing on and off, showing signs of life decay. I couldn't believe it. A pair of wedge bulbs that cost $100 lasted only 4 month? I thought it could be a socket connection problem so I switched the two bulbs and polarity, tried everything I could and no luck, it's dying.
I wrote to Piaa customer service, explained the situation above. They never responded. End of story.
Staring at the manual that came with my bulbs, the front page prints in large font by Piaa: Pride and Confidence in People and Products. Do you believe in either after reading my story?

(More customer reviews)What a fantastic idea: additional LED lighting for a motorcycle that is both auxiliary turn signal indicators and running lights. Out of the box, once installed, the little red and amber LEDs all glow once ignition is on, the red ones come on brighter when brakes are applied, and when the turn signals are switched on that side flashes. Brake lights over-rule indicators.
Wiring is straightforward. Check for the correct colours on the bike's loom and apply Scotchlok style taps. A problem is the wires connecting to the bike's loom are short and it's a bit of a stretch to connect to the indicator, brake, live and earth. This has to be done twice: one for each side.
The LEDs have too much wire. After sticking them and threading the wire into the bike, each side is plugged into a telephone-style socket and the remaining spare cable has to be bundled up somewhere. Perhaps making all connections under the seat rather than at the front of the bike would be easier.
The product works exactly as advertised, but isn't particularly bright in daylight. The LEDs should be larger and brighter. However, at night having additional lighting under the mirrors tells everyone exactly how wide the motorcycle is, and that is what the lights are for.

Driver and Passenger Side (Pair) Euro Black LED Projector Headlights Review

(More customer reviews)Anyone who has bought aftermarket lights knows that Depo is a name with great reputation. I have bought them a few times, and they were always great. There are other no-name products assembled in Asia, those are poor quality items, stay away from them.
I purchased my set from AUTO TRUCK PLUS, who is offering very good shipping for seventeen bucks. The units look great, and very much identical to OEM parts. Very nice design of the projectors, they make a clear cut-off light pattern. I tested them in a room, and they do show a few spots, like starts in the night sky. The barrier inside has little holes, which explain the light spots. This is one very strange thing they do, must be a signature of Depo units, or something. I have not installed them yet, so I'd have to update on the performance once on the road.
These use same bulb types as OEM, so there should not be any issues with the system as far as load distribution, etc. You won't need to buy bulbs too since they are already installed in these headlights. There is an opportunity to upgrade to Xenon aftermarket, and it seems to be a simple process. You already have decent projectors in place, so it won't looks lousy like some kids like to make it, blinding every oncoming driver because their lights are shining in every possible direction but where it should - down on the road ahead, staying below the eye level of other drivers. I believe in properly bright lights which are properly adjusted and not just blinding others, and that is why we use projectors.
Buy them, swap yours, they plug-in directly, and I am sure you'll be happy too. So good to see that Depo now makes these headlights for 8th generation Civics!

imagine my delight when I found Amazon to be a good source of replacement
parts. Unfortunately mine was originally owned on the East Coast USA, where
winters are tough and salted roads prevail. The entire underside of the car is
a rust bucket. I've been restoring it gradually, which of course involves all the
lights, bumpers, wheel wells, floors and other parts. The sources through
Amazon have been invaluable for getting the best prices on quality items.
