The upside: Arrived very quickly, the light very white with a tinge of blue.
Downside: These bulbs are 1/10 as bright as the stock bulbs I hoped to replace.

(More customer reviews)Like any LED based night light, this isn't incandescent bright, but it's bright enough to expose an otherwise totally dark area. Plus not having to hook it up to the home wiring makes this/these products hugely convenient, esp. in locations away from the house.
This product worked exactly as expected/hoped plus is less expensive than other versions, which is good combination of factors.

3157 SILVER AMBER PLATINUM CHROME BULBS Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered these for my 05 Grand Cherokee because I really disliked the amber reflection in the headlight. Wow, it's really night and day difference. These bulbs do a great job cleaning up the front end. Best of all, they are still amber when they're turned on. So the car doesn't look retarded with blue/white/etc lights everywhere. It looks stock. So if you are going for a very clean look while staying legal (depending on state) these are for you.
I cannot say if the paint on the bulbs will crack or peel as I just put them in. I will be checking them periodically for any signs of wear. I hope they last!
Lastly, one slight con to these bulbs is that because of the chrome paint they are dimmer than stock. But you can clearly see them blinking when the blinkers are on.

I simply opened the packaging on the shipping tube on one end, and slid the end of the product out to see it was incorrect, and slid it back in and retaped, and they won't accept it... Don't buy this if you have an 06 Tundra body style...it'll rub the bottom of the tailgate...

(More customer reviews)The one I got didn't work, but in trying to figure out why it didn't work, I discovered that it has a VERY DANGEROUS flaw in it's design: If the control unit fails the daytime running lights will not work AND YOUR REGULAR HEADLIGHTS WILL FAIL ALSO!!! If this DRL kit were to fail while driving at night YOUR HEADLIGHTS WILL SHUT OFF!!
Do not buy this product, and if you have it you should disconnect it IMMEDIATELY.

I was hesitant that just the 3m tape would hold it on, but it's been on there and hasn't budged in almost half a year. I did have an issue with the connector that is on the wiring harness, but it was an easy fix as I cut it out and put some sta-kons in it's place.

Pilot Performance Lighting PL-DRL6 (C9006) Daytime Running Light Kit for 9006/H4351 Review

(More customer reviews)Well, I believe this kit would be nice, only it didn't say anything about needing to connect it to a spark plug wire as well as the rest of the connections. Well, my wife's 2006 Toyota RAV4 Limited didn't come with daytime running lamps, but it also doesn't have spark plug wires! My 2009 Subaru Forester even has spark plug wires! This was a learning experience for me, as in place of spark plug wires, this Toyota engine had a large rectangular "box" that fit over all 4 in-line spark plugs, and thus connected the spark plugs to the ignition via the one large unit. I wasn't going to attempt disassembling (if even possible) this technology, so, I don't have DRL still on the RAV4.
The parts inside the box appeared well made, not some pretend plastic crud, but again, I didn't get to connect the kit to know if it works!
Chances are likely that you will have wires going to your spark plugs, but I suggest checking now that I've seen what I have. It would have been nice to know before I ordered the kit, then I wouldn't have had to return it!

Even after holding them against the roof I was concerned because they didn't really fit the curve, and I was afraid the screws would pull it into place and then the lenses wouldn't fit right. But after getting them on, the screws pulled them on tight compressing the foam for an even fit and the lenses still fit good. I'll try to remember and post some better pictures.
