(More customer reviews)These lights really look good. Other options for teh truck to have smoked headlights look like the ricer projection headlights. These are FACTORY OEM lights that have been modified. Construction is very good, came with lights but chose to go with HID lights instead. These are tinted slightly, the dark look comes from the inside being black and not reflective. They work very good with only minimal light reduction at night. A+ product.

Chevy 8 Piece Euro Chrome Headlight Set With Halo And Xenon Bulbs Driver/Pass... Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these headlights for my 1998 Chevy Ex-cab truck. They look great, very good quality. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to wire the LED Halo bulbs. There were no instruction included in the package. I kinda figured that the red wire was positive and the white wire would be negative. The wires were about 18 inches long and I only needed about 8 inches to reach the parking light, this is where I spliced into the power and ground. Well, I cut the Halo LED wires down to length and didn't realize that there was a small resistor inline on the positive wire, now that Halo don't work. I tried to splice the resistor back in, but I guess I fried the little LED bulbs when I turned it on without the resistor. Other than that everything looks and works GREAT!! So, my advice is do not cut the wires and you should be fine.

However, only one of my high beams work, and the only instructions that came with the lights were "Connect the black wire to the black wire." It took me many tries to figure out which black wire went to the lights. Overall an okay product. Also not very good communication from the seller.

(More customer reviews)The factory OEM light was leaking (no longer watertight) and I decided to replace the whole light because the original had been beat up by the elements. I was concerned about whether it fit exactly because I didn't want it to leak. It was a perfect fit for the '98 Ford Ranger and cosmetically looks much nicer than the factory light. The supplied harness plugged right into the factory harness on the truck without any trouble whatsoever.
I think the red LED stoplamps are at least as noticeable as the original bulb system - hard to compare directly because they put out a different kind of light. The cargo lights seem brighter than the originals at nighttime, but they are more focused and concentrated on the tailgate. Overall, I am pleased with the product and have no regrets about the purchase.

(More customer reviews)You can't find a better deal on these lights elsewhere unless you get lucky on eBay. These lights sell for 100 bucks plus shipping almost anywhere from the manufacturer, to any pickup truck accessory shop. Installation is simple and to the point although there are no hard copy instructions they are easy to figure out.
Remove the stock Ford fender light lense
twist and remove the bulb from the socket
plug the Recon light connector into the bulb socket, push wires back into the fender
and stick the new light on with the supplied adhesive material.
I removed the inner fender liner to access the wires and to release the stock light.
Hope this helps, don't be dicouraged by the other review!
