Flexible LED Light Strip - Red LEDs - Clear Tube - 2.125" Review

(More customer reviews)I bought these to put on my mirrors to add more visibility to my turn signals and to serve as a reminder if I forget to cancel. They work beautifully, bright enough to be seen by people behind me but not so bright that they hurt my own eyes. I haven't tried them at night yet, but daytime was the main thing I was after. I stuck them to the upper outer edge of my mirrors and routed the wires down into the headlamp where the directional connectors are. It took a few minutes to determine which wire I needed to connect to, but it was pretty obvious thanks to the color coding. I wrapped the mirror stem with black tape to hide the wires and then wrapped tape around to secure the leads to to the other wires going into the headlamp. Looks great and does the job I intended just fine. Note: I used clear silicone to seal the open portions of the LED enclosures before sticking them to the mirrors, as per the online instructions.

The black tube has a decidedly sinister appearance perched upon the dash that i like.
I cannot comment on ease of installation as i had a garage do it.
Although i did mount the device myself before taking it to be installed so it would be exactly where i wanted it. I simply used velcro & it works great.
The light functions perfectly, flashing at the RPM setting you select with the dial at the rear of the tube. Flash is bright & easy to see even in daylight.
Light will stay on until you shift, nice.
I would like to see an optional & adjustable beep to accompany the flash of light, as an audible alert in case your eyes are diverted would be nice.
But it is what it is & thats good enough for me, sharp looking form & flawless functionality.

(More customer reviews)I got this kit because of the price and it looks like a reputable company. I was very right, great customer service and quality of product. I once had red neons for my last car, but I heard LED is brighter and better and boy is it ever. It isn't too bright and it's not too dim, it's perfect. LED lasts longer I believe to. Anyways, it took me about an hour to put these up because it was my first time and I had a hard time trying to find places to mount them. I eventually drilled 2 little holes on the side frame pinch and the front had a little fender lip to drill into. The back was definately the hardest to find a spot away from the exhaust. But overall it was a pretty simple install. Excellent control box for switching and it comes with a remote. The remote battery died on me before I got a chance to use it, but that could be because I have a bad habit of pushing the buttons a lot. The battery was also cheapy but I ordered a Duracell. It takes a 20v 70a or something like that. It's about the size of a AAA but cut in half. Anyways, the kit is great and the 7 color one would be cool for a girl, but I am a guy so I just got the all blue one because it looks great. Good luck!

60-LED Crotch Rocket Sports Bike Accent Light Kit- Color: ORANGE Review

(More customer reviews)I only installed 48 of the 60 lights so far....and oh my...if they don't just set the bike off now!!! These LEDs are far easier and better to work with that most I've seen. The compact size is IDEAL for getting them into the tightest of spaces easily. I too had to go and purchase a bit more wire, not because there ain't enough for a basic installation, but because of where I located my switch. On my bike (2000 ZX12R), the battery compartment is a nightmare, as it is inside the frame (ZX12 and ZX14 models are this way), so the wire provided for wiring up the switch is enough for removal/installation of the battery without a headache. The little wires on the lights themselves will give you a headache too if you're not careful....like I wasn't at first. The are like stripping phone wire, only these are stranded, so they are like tiny gauge speaker wire (24AWG), but this too is no big deal once you get the knack of it, as there is plenty of wire on them for a few "Ooopsies". Overall, I have been recommending these kits to ALL of my fellow sportbike and cruiser riders. They look GREAT at night, and are a breeze to install, and the adhesive sticks like super glue (unless you don't clean the area, then it won't stick for nuthin, but it says that in the instros). They are very bright, and illuminate the bike very well. I kept out 2 strips as spares in case something should happen to any of them, but these are so well made, you should be ok. Oh, and for the cold weather folks looking, make sure these strips aren't cold when you try to flex them, as they WILL CRACK. Place them in your hands cupped and blow in there to warm them a tid bit and then apply them, then you'll be ok. (don't ask me how I know this......hehe) Overall, easy install, quality parts, excellent instructions, and the fact that Joe is available any time for a call to help you out makes these probably the best light kits on the net I've seen yet, and I will purchase all my light kits from now on from Joe Florida. I am a customer for life now! Way to go Joe Florida!!!

Blue LED Neon Motorcycle Lighting Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I did not know whaat to expect when I got the light set. It had only four lights. I was thinking is this gonna make my bike look good??? I have a 2007 Honda Shadow Aero VT750C. Suffice to say it looks great!!! The install process was a bit tedious but that is due to doing it the first time (if I did this for a living it would be a snap). But it was nothing that any novice could not handle. Very simple and straight forward process. You have to decide where to place the LED bulbs for maximum benefit. The best place is under the gas tank (backside of the seam). I used the picture as a guide.
Finding a place for my switch was a bit of a hassle but ended up placing it above my ignition switch and it is perfect there. It is easy for me to reach down and switch it on as I am riding down the road.
The only con I have with this product is that it would bve nice if they had a 6 bulb set up instead of a 4 bulb. Other than that a really nice set up for the price.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased these lights after searching for the perfect set-up for my Polaris RZR. I wanted a light system that had small, bright, and durable lights that would be able to withstand some water, and a lot of physical abuse.
The kit itself is very high quality, and for the price it seems VERY reasonable. The installation was easy, the wireless remote control works very well! I'd say all in all, I was VERY happy with my purchase. I called VisionX with a question, and they were able to help me out quickly, and very effeciently. Their customer support seems very good as well.
If you're looking for a decent priced off-road set up (or even on-road for that matter) this is a well put together kit, with and easy to install layout. The LED pods are very bright, and seem durable.
