(More customer reviews)Recently I purchased this product for my truck in hopes of adding some more led lights to it as I'm an LED freak. It seemed like a really cool idea to have running lights mounted underneath my doors and after doing some research I settled on using this product over others brands or the more expensive option of building my own.
Well I was quite disappointed when the product arrived after opening it. The build quality just seemed to be very poor like it was some cheap Chinese product(which it should not have been for the price). Right off the bat I noticed that the bars plastic enclosure which houses the leds where already cloudy looking, not clear. I suspect that over time this would have gotten worse. Also the product came with wire loom to protect the wires although in many spots there were kinks in it exposing wires. I also managed to find that the driver side bar had slight damage to one of the power wires(luckily I had some liquid electrical tape handy to fix that). Once I got everything installed on my truck and started testing the bars I noticed the were really dim(both running lights and signal functions) far from what the manufacture describes and barely visible at all during the day. My old Oznium turn signal led strips on the bottom of my mirrors are about 10 times brighter. On top of that half of the drivers side bar was not flashing at all with turn signals/hazard functionality unless I bent it slightly in the middle holding it up with my fingers telling me it had an internal short.
So I suggest trying another manufacture or building your own using led sites such as Oznium, superbrightleds, etc
