(More customer reviews)I spent my weekend trying to get these lights installed to replace pre-existing factory cab lights on my F-350, the directions say 3-4 hours. No instructions were provided for wiring. The installation hardware would work if there weren't pre existing holes. The seal that contacts the cab puts great pressure on the back of the housing that I believe will crack over time. They look nice which is why they get a 2 from me, but if I had to do it all over again I would probably put the lens over my factory cab lights. I'm not sure what other brands are out there but I wouldn't recommend this one. If you have bought these already and aren't sure how to wire. The dark brown wire on the harness to the old cab lights is +12 black is - gnd. Hook the green hot wire on the new harness to the brown +12 and likewise to both of the black -gnd. The yellow wire on the new harness is hot the brown wire is gnd so make sure the red wire from the LEDs goes to the yellow wire on the receptacle of the harness and the black wire from the LEDs goes to the brown wire to the receptacle. To mount find a small machine screw that matches the factory nut with washer that you took off and use the factory nut with new machine screw. The plug from the LED has a habit of falling out of the receptacle on the harness so I electrical taped them together. If your mind feels like it's twisted after reading this then you know how I feel. It was a lot harder than I originally anticipated.
These may be super easy for a truck that didn't have cab lights to begin with.
