(More customer reviews)I grew up years ago seeing French cars with yellow headlights in any number of movies and such, and always heard that yellow light cut through fog better than white light. I shopped for yellow bulbs for my new Honda's fog lights and settled on these. The price seemed right and the description- "real gold!" caught my attention. I've a feeling that many of these bulbs are made by one factory and different names put on them, but I've no proof of that. Anyway, I got these and stuck 'em in my fog lights, a five minute job, and I have to say they improved the look, (Hey cool yellow fog lights!)and performance of my fogs. Even though Forbes magazine rates Cleveland as the most miserable city to live in in the U.S., we don't get a lot of fog. When we do, I snap on these fog lights and they sure do seem to cut through the ground fog and even help in snow flurries. So far, no issues and I like 'em.

921ST Sylvania Silverstar Backup/Interior Light Bulbs(Pair) Review

They are still working fine and are definitely brighter than my standard backup lights with standard bulbs. The main reason I purchased these is because it is hard to see to back up at night with tinted windows. These definitely helped.

Well, these bulbs give me that blue hue, but so far seem not be a good driving bulb, they are too dim. If you are looking for a bulb to use for show purposes, this will do that job just fine. If your also looking for the hella 5.75" high beam bulb, the 83115091 will fit your BMW. If your looking for a black tipped buld, it wont happen you will get silver but I dont think it makes a difference.

This time not so much, I guess I was just expecting too much from a little bulb. If you want to replace an old bulb or one that goes out, this is a great choice, if you need more light output, don't expect much from this one.

HID Xenon- Krypton 9004 Blue Headlight Bulbs Review

(More customer reviews)These headlight bulbs are significantly brighter than the ones the shop had installed. I chose to get new bulbs because I wasn't very happy with the brightness of my old ones. I bought these particular ones because the blue just seemed like a cool idea. It was a secondary part of the decision.
The output light is "blue" in the same way the standard bulbs are "yellow" (at least in my mid-90's car). If you're looking for it, you'll be able to see a blue tinge to the outer aura of light. The primary light, however, is definitely white. If you're looking for blue pimp-out-my-car headlights, look elsewhere. If you're looking for high quality light to be able to see clearly, these are what you want. The output of the xenon light is probably a couple hundred candle power greater than what I had.

It has been almost a year since I bought these and both burnt out within the past week. The high beam filaments still work normally, but the normal filaments are broken. I would attempt to replace the bulbs via the warranty, but, naturally, I have lost it somewhere in my car. I have switched back to my standard bulbs.

It dim and it's yellow. We have been using the Ultra for 3 years now, and prefer them over the OEM and the regular Silverstars. Now that we have added the fix for the constant burned out bulbs, these are lasting a lot longer than they used to :)

They offer replacements if they burn out within a year of purchase but I can't wait, driving around with my brights on is asking to get pulled over around here. I will most likely not purchase these again.

I use this on my BMW K75 and really helps on those Dark nights at high speeds.
Most important though is to make sure the aim of the light is correct or you'll blind everyone and the high beams become useless. (if they are aimed to high) vice versa is aimed too low.
Works much better then so called WHITE lights which just add harshness to the light.

got them for my car a three weeks ago (figured id wait) and theyve been everything i thought.
they really fit on easy on my chevy equinox, (same size bulbs as the Impala as well as several other chevy models).
The light these give off is much brighter and wider than the stock license plate bulbs. Also the blueish hue to them really adds some flash to the back of your car while driving at night. ive gotten numerous compliments.
great all around. side-note:if your someone who like to avoid the police, dont get these. they INCREASE how well cars can see your plate #'s.

(More customer reviews)The Silverstar bulbs, whether this type or the standard ones are a good upgrade for any vehicle. I have them in 3 vehicles now, and they have lasted years in my VW Jetta and are still as bright as the day I put them in. Some reviews state short life span, so here's the best tip I gave give anyone working with headlight bulbs.
The second you are working with your Silverstars, put on latex gloves and don't take them off until you have the job done. Oil from your skin will create hot spots on the bulbs and they will burn out quickly. If you don't touch them, this won't happen and they should last for quite a few years. At this price, I would recommend these bulbs to everyone that would like to see better at night.
