(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of these headlamps for my hubby and I almost 10 years ago. We Love them. They fit nicely. These headlamps are Tough! We have dropped them on the cement and in to the lake and they continued to work perfectly! They Have 3 light settings. One of the lights is a red lamp which is great for night fishing because it doesn't scare the fish. We will continue to purchase this same headlamp as long as they are available. Which is what I am going to do today because....Well...We've had them for 10 years now and things do ware out. But hey 10 years!

If your also looking for the hella 5.75" high beam bulb, the 83115091 will fit your BMW. If your looking for a black tipped buld, it wont happen you will get silver but I dont think it makes a difference.

I use this on my BMW K75 and really helps on those Dark nights at high speeds.
Most important though is to make sure the aim of the light is correct or you'll blind everyone and the high beams become useless. (if they are aimed to high) vice versa is aimed too low.
Works much better then so called WHITE lights which just add harshness to the light.

Sylvania 9003 SU BP TWIN SilverStar Ultra Headlight - Pack of 2 Review

I installed a set in my 2002 Honda CRV. One burned out in about 4 months and I don't have running lights. A call to Sylvania customer service gave a offer to send a new set if I returned the burnt out bulb with the sales reciept. OK thats nice, 2 for 1. Very generious,however the second set did not last any longer. Another call to C.S. This time the rep. was more helpfull or should I say truthful. I was informed that some makes of vechiles such as Honda and BMW, as well as other forgien makes run as high as 15 volts to the headlights causing premature failure of the Silver Star and Silver Star Ultra bulbs. Therefore Sylvania does not recomend them for these cars. Now they tell me.
I have had a set in my Chrysler T&C van for over 2 years. No problem.
Check with your dealer if your car is not US and save yourself money and aggravation.
