I have found the water tight seal on the housing and sure-lock seal on the wiring plugs to give excellent performance. I have been using these several years on a boat trailer in SALT WATER and have never had a failure due to leakage or corrosive contamination. We will be adding more Truck-Lite LED products in the coming weeks.

I don't understand but won't be sending back cause it is just not worth the hassle.

Good product, and the fact that it does not have that fake blue tint makes be to believe that it is simply a high quality set. The high price is worth it because it looks nice and is bright.

This is great especially when you need to read a book or work in a remote place/ garden where there is no ambient light. It also helped me to fix the car and electronic gadgets during night travel. Very much reliable and portable (Approx 1.0 pound including solar rechargeable battery).
Great thing- you can turn off the solar light or reduce the light intensity if you don't want to waste the energy and preserve it for days.
Very cool amazing solar product- very helpful for any situations including emergency.

LED Light bulb for automotive applications, 24LED 1157 12V, Red Review

(More customer reviews)I have 12 of these bulbs and none of them have failed, even under severe vibration they are still working very well.
There have been only two notable issues.
1. The first being that these bulbs use so much less power to light than a normal bulb that if your flasher is dependent on the amperage draw of the bulb then it will get confused and either flash too fast (as with most modern cars) or not flash at all (some older model cars). These bulbs work especially well for motorcycles that have separate turn signals and do not have the flasher work off this bulb. They seem to be very reliable.
2. The only other issue is that all LED's are highly directional and if the socket in your tail light is not facing the rear of the vehicle then much of the light from this bulb will not be aiming in the direction that it is needed. These LED bulbs are so bright however that they may still be bright enough to be more than adequate.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
