(More customer reviews)This order was about my 30th LED order so I am not new to installing them, and recieving various different quality of product. I spent an hour looking for the fuse I must have burnt out, as the LED was not turning on. Only to find out that it was the bulb. Shaking my head in frustration, I grabbed the next one, but before soldering the connections, I connected it to some terminals, nothing, then the battery, nothing. Then another LED....nothing. The second from last one worked, I installed it, and began working on my other installs in the car. Within 20min, it had burnt out.
Checking the fuse again to be sure, I pulled the connections, set it to the battery terminal, Nothing. Luckily, I still had one more. A quick test proved that it was dead too.
Wasted time, and as this is an inferior product, waste of money. 3 out of 4 dont work and the one only working for 30min.

(More customer reviews)I purchased three of these units and just completed the installation over the sink in our kitchen. As others have said, they produce a bright, warm light. I decided not to use a dimmer and that turned out to be the right decision because the light is perfect for this application. Not sure if I should have chosen the light with the GU-24 connection, but the edison base was easy to install and no regrets. I installed them in 6" Utilitec brand remodel cans that were purchased from Lowes and the fit was perfect. If you purchase the Utilitec cans, don't buy the trim rings because they are not needed; the flange on the bottom of the Cree serves as a trim ring. I also plan to add more of these lights in the family room when I get a chance and will use a dimmer with those because we want to adjust lighting intensity in that room. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to save on their energy bill. A great product. They really do produce a light color that is identical to a standard incadescent bulb.

(More customer reviews)So I was expecting something a little bit more powerful than what this bulb is. When buying it, I had the misbelief that it would be as powerful as a 3w or 5w LED light, such that if pointed downward from a height of 7 feet, the ground would have a massive colorful circle of light. I was expecting a room lit by color that would fade in and out smoothly and provide a great ambiance.
Let me tell you I was disappointed.
These things are awful if you were expecting the above description. Not only do these not light up the room at all, there is no fading between colors. There's no ambiance with these things, and if you're expecting a stronger light, go for a 3w or 5w led light.A glade nightlight is more powerful than this item.

(More customer reviews)Our living room chandelier has five candelabra base sockets, in which we previously had five 60-watt bulbs for a total of 300 watts power consumption. Energy-saving bulbs that BOTH fit candelabra sockets AND can be dimmed are quite hard to find, so I was glad to find these. However their light output is not quite enough. So what I did was install three of these and two 60W halogen candelabra size bulbs. With the dimmer on high setting, power use is 129 watts, or 57% less power while light output is about 38% less than it was. But where these LEDs really, ahem, shine is when we have the dimmer turned down as we frequently do. Incandescent bulbs (and halogen bulbs are just a somewhat more efficient type of incandescent bulb) get dimmer non-linearly when voltage is reduced whereas these LEDs get dimmer linearly. Which means that when we turn down the dimmer, the LEDs represent a bigger fraction of the total light output.
When higher-output dimmable LEDs in candelabra size become available, we may replace one or both halogen bulbs in our chandelier.

(More customer reviews)The item description does not say that its good replacement for 25W bulbs. I was thinking it was for 50-60W bulb based on picture and unclear details.
Same seller has other same item that explicitly states that its for 25 watt bulb.
Anyway its okay for 25W bulbs. I ordered 3 and got one that had few leds burnt out. Otherwise everything worked.

TCP 10630 - LDCT3WH30K Dimmable LED Light Bulb Review

(More customer reviews)This bulb is an excellent bulb! LED technology develops fast, but this little guy should be around for a while. I use them in my hallway light where I don't really need a super bright light, I need ot to go to my kid's room when I hear a noise, or to guide me to the bathroom without waking up the rest of the house. I wish I had more places to put this bulb.
