(More customer reviews)I bought this vest to be seen while running in the dark, early morning hours here in the PacNW. When I first put it on and turned on the lights, my 5 year-old exclaimed with all the innocent admiration of a 5 year-old, "Mom! You look like a Christmas Tree!" This vest is so bright, it lights up the reflective street signs ahead of me. I figure if I get hit while wearing this vest, the driver meant to hit me, and my family can sue big time. I hope that it might also frighten away any of the larger wildlife that are resident in the area. On the down side, it is a little stiff, and for my small frame (size 6) a little large, even with everything in as snug as it can go. I had to sew the overlap at the sides in place so it would stay without flapping around. It took a couple of runs to get used to wearing it, but now it doesn't bother me. Anyway, it does the job very well--worth the money I spent, and I don't feel nervous about getting hit along the dark, rural roadways I run along.
