(More customer reviews)I drilled 2 holes, installed it with 2 nuts & bolts and was done!
LED lights are bright and can't be missed.
The wire hook up is via a 4-pin trailer hook up. I tried to hard wire it and cut off the connector but that does NOT work!
In order for the light to work, it needs to be hooked up with the 4-pin trailer hook up.

I simply opened the packaging on the shipping tube on one end, and slid the end of the product out to see it was incorrect, and slid it back in and retaped, and they won't accept it... Don't buy this if you have an 06 Tundra body style...it'll rub the bottom of the tailgate...

I was hesitant that just the 3m tape would hold it on, but it's been on there and hasn't budged in almost half a year. I did have an issue with the connector that is on the wiring harness, but it was an easy fix as I cut it out and put some sta-kons in it's place.

(More customer reviews)Does a good job but the adhesive supplied to attache it to the truck is not up to the job. The easy fix is to attached it with SS screws. Even adding the screws (excluding time to go buy them) the install was less than 45 minutes.
UPDATE: 6 months use now and working just fine!

(More customer reviews)So far, a very good purchase. I installed the light bar approx. 2 months ago on my 2007 RAM 3500 Mega Cab and have had no problems with it. It installs very easily including splicing the white wire into your truck's wiring harness for the use of the white reverse lights. The lights are pretty bright, but not blinding which I feel is a good thing. Overall, a good product. MAKE SURE YOUR TAILGATE DOES NOT HIT THE LIGHT BAR WHEN OPENING. POSITION THE LIGHT BAR LOW ENOUGH TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM.

(More customer reviews)First off, it took 2.5 weeks to get to me. So much for the 1 week shipping rate.
I've had this product for 2 months.
The instructions vaguely explained how to wire the reverse lights in. I went to college for electricity and those directions were very hard to comprehend. One section of 3 LEDs came cracked right out of the box, I didn't need it though because I have a small truck.
The 2 sided tape on the ends to the strips came off the very next day and have been peeling ever since.
Recently, the cold weather has been wreaking havoc on the strip ( I live in Wisconsin). After the peeling, both ends are now cracking (not the tape, the plastic around the LEDs),
"Flexible plastic will not crack or become brittle" --false
making the outer edges blink when the running lights are on (false turn signaling). Today I noticed the passenger side does not even work.
The plastic coating around that LEDs yellow and fade in the sunlight. It looks like I have a puke yellow strip on the bottom of my tailgate.
I tried contacting company about any warranty, I got the "please contact this department" response, so I'm not going to put any more time into it.

(More customer reviews)These tail lights are great! Install very easy! Assembly is solid! Lights shine bright even through the smoked lenses. Installed for about 3 months now, through lots or rain and car washes, haven't found any leaks yet. Wish they would come with pre-installed LED reverse lights is my only "negative." Buy them here and save money!! As with all aftermarket car products, check local state laws. My state was in the middle of deciding whether or not lights like these were legal. Safety inspector passed them due to the reflectors on the inside of the lens.
