(More customer reviews)I got these to replace some cheap lights I had on my brush guard. Compared to the $20 set I had, these are larger and seem to put out a larger spread of light, and look nicer.
I tried to use the included wiring harness, but grew tired of searching for a place to attach the wire to my parking lights, and set them up on my existing harness I already had installed. I assume the purpose of attaching a wire to the parking lights is to prevent them from running down the battery should you leave them on, since most newer vehicles will cut the power if you leave the parking lights on.
I didn't like the provided switch, it had a adhesive pad for attaching to the dash, and seemed fragile. It was spongy when pressed and didn't click, but that may just be a personal preference. I used my own glow switch that clicks off/on.
I'm pleased with them. The hardware to attach fit nicely into the pre-drilled holes on my brush guard, and when everything is tightened it is sturdy and does not seem prone to come lose and vibrate out of place. Be sure and aim them correctly, if you point them too high or low they don't seem very bright, but when pointed correctly are great for those dark back roads at night.
