SureFire HL1-C-TN Helmet Light; 3 white, 2 red, 1 blinking infrared LED Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This light is typical Surefire, work s very well and the best money can buy. I have the white/blue LED version and it works very well for hands-free work. The blue doesn't mess with night vision too bad, and the white is bright enough to work by without being too bright. The three brightness settings are easy to adjust as well. Positive lockout for when you don't want it to turn on is a huge plus. My only real complaint is that is only comes in tan. A black version of this would be more to my liking, also a foliage green as well. (I also am not sure how water resistant this really is, but it has survived plenty of rain and sand.) For those of use who like to have mission specific gear, that would be nice. The molle strap clip is a great option to get with this for when you are not wearing a helmet. The molle clip stays very tight onto the straps and holds the light securely. The only problem I seem to have is with REMF's who always want to swipe the good gear that me and my guy's have. This is highly recommended. Do not even try to be cheap with the knockoff versions on some auction sites.
