(More customer reviews)If your looking for LED lights for your Bike but don't want to pay the high prices they charge at the bike shows, do it yourself like I did. My bike is blue, but I chose the 6 piece purple LED's because blue & red are illegal colors in my state. I am happy with my choice, the purple looks really nice once installed. As for installation; it took me 4 hours from start to finish, with the first hour planning it out and deciding where to place the lights and run the wires. The hardest ones to install were on the front frame & having to run the wires back to the battery. I loosened the gas tank and connected them with zip ties to the other wires running underneath the tank to the battery area. This also made it easier to attach the lights under the tank as well. Zip ties were included in the package, but they were small and white in color, so I used my own zip ties which were longer and black in color - much less noticeable. The wires were long enough for the job and I had to wrap the excess afterward. After connecting the wires together I attached them to the battery and it worked fine. I like the remote and various functions it allows. I called customer service for a quick question, and they answered quickly and were very helpful. A helpful hint: you can use a standard 9 volt battery to test the lights prior to installation. The bottom line? Buy this product with confidence. I do recommend buying the 8 or 12 piece kit if you can afford it, because it doesn't project on the ground like the pictures show unless you have enough lights to direct them downward, plus if your spending the time to install them yourself, you may as well do it all at once.
