(More customer reviews)I put these on must 1982 chevy truck. What a nice upgrade the installer also wired the lights to come on when the brakes are pressed. It looks better than then new trucks, and cadillac's that have this factory installed. We had to take the mirrors off, and drill a few holes, but it was worth the effort.

CIPA 08800 Add-A-Signal Arrows Review

(More customer reviews)These signal arrows were installed on the auxillary mirrors for the SUV, used when pulling a camper trailer. This gives very high visability for other vehicles when I want to turn, especially for cars driving alongside the trailer. The wiring was done with polarized plugs and receptacles (Mono speaker jacks and plugs really.), so I can remove the mirrors and disconnect the wiring when using the SUV alone.
Since the arrows are highly visible to me, they serve as a reminder to stop signaling after a turn, instead of having my dear wife smack me upside along the head.
The arrows were easy to install on the mirrors, the wiring was simple, and the cost is very reasonable. The only concern is that the wires with the arrows are a very small gauge -- I hope they can stand up under the normal "wear and tear". Note: I do "tie" the auxillary mirrors to the stock mirrors, to keep from losing them while traveling. Otherwise, I have recommended these arrows to my camping friends.

It didn't work, so I called the company and they actually said they knew it didn't work in 99% of cars but if I could live with the fact that one single light blinked 3 times and then went blank it still functions as a convex mirror. I was appalled. This needs to be taken off the market. Its junk.

(More customer reviews)I Installed these in the high beam position for my Acura RSX headlights. i have 6000k HID's and as you know the standard high beam lights appear very yellow on cars with aftermarket HID's. you dont want HID's in the high beam spot because they take a few seconds to warm up, and you want high beams to be "instant on" These bulbs are the closest match in a halogen bulb i have found. the Sylvania "Silverstar Ultra" and "PIAA Ultra White" bulbs are very yellow looking compared to these. if i were not expecting them to be off color i probably would have never noticed a difference.

(More customer reviews)The mirror is well made and functions just as advertised. Installation , though advertised easy, was more involved than some may want to get into. I installed it in my 2003 Chevy truck and didn't run into too many problems, but running wires up the windshield post might be a trick in many vehicles. Particularly those vehicles with side curtain air bags located in the windshield post trim, something the instructions don't warn you about.
