(More customer reviews)I just installed this yesterday. I'm very happy that it uses AA batteries, which can be found just about anywhere these days. I bought this to replace a similar item that uses a hard-to-find battery and non-LED lights. The battery on that one died after a year. The old one was slightly brighter but not enough to be worth the extra initial cost and the cost of replacing the battery. I think I'm going to be very happy with this one.

Maxsa 40230 Motion-Activated LED Indoor/Outdoor Anywhere Light Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this because of the high star ratings by other purchasers. I was misled. I live in rural SC and have lots of "critters" that creep at night. I put it on the corner of the garage so I wouldn't be surprised by bobcats, fox, armadillo or SNAKES. I sent the dogs out last night to check it - it came on -- if you are standing under it and don't squint. The circle of light, which is so dim you couldn't see a bobcat standing in it, was only about 2 feet around. It was comparable to a flashlight that needs new batteries. I am more than disappointed. It cost $28 plus postage. So where is it now -- in my back hallway for guests who need to use the second bathroom. A PIECE OF JUNK!
