(More customer reviews)Replaced the 50watt bulbs in my malibu lighting with these - they worked and draw about 1/60th the power. BUT you can get better lights for less. I opted for paying a bit more - went to 3 watt luxeon LED's and on a 100 W transformer I am lighting up the night sky!!!

(More customer reviews)I use these lights in my Malibu landscape lights and I'm the talk of the neiborhood. All my neibors like the way they compliment my side walk and flower bed. These give off a cool white 6500k light. Malibu's new LED landscape lights are $30 a fixure. I already have the fixures I like but had the regular 7 - 11 watt bulbs. These are alot better and cost allot less than replaceing everthing. It also allowed me to reduce my energy consumption because they are only a half a watt a piece. I went from 100 watts a tranformer to only useing 10 watts.
I also used these lights to replace the interior lights in my truck. I love them. Alot better than stock.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this LED light (the warm one) as a possible replacement for the 10-watt G4 halogen lights in my Enchanted Garden landscape lights. My lights are on a dusk-to dawn timer and we go from very hot in the summer to lots of snow in the winter to wind and rain. In short, we end up replacing a lot of Halogen bulbs - their lifetime is usually 6-12 months. So I wanted to investigate LED replacements to reduce energy use (in case I waned to go solar) and also to be more reliable and require less replacement. So I purchased this unit and replaced one of my bulbs - the great news is that it fits under the little glass globe in my lights and it runs much cooler and looks so similar to my existing 10 watt halogen lights that I can replace them one at a time as they burn out. If you look closely these lights are a tiny bit brighter and a tiny bit less "yellow" than my 10-watt halogens but no one but me would ever notice. I have purchased enough so that all replacements will be LED from now on. The cost is a bit high - but with my 10-watt halogen bulbs running about $4.00 locally - I figure the payback will be within 12 months given the LEDs should last much longer. I will probably write a blog post review about this with pictures, details, etc at some point.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this light to replace a conventional T10, 10W incandescent bulb in a 12v decorative light fixture on my boat. It fit perfectly and produces the same light of and warm hue that closely matches the original color of the incandescent bulb it replaced. Unlike most LED bulbs on the market, this and other units from LED Wholesalers that I have purchased and reviewed are polarity insensitive making installation super simple - just plug them in as you would any bulb. The light output is nicely 'even' - without any hot spot which is evident with the original incandescent bulb. I was concerned that this tower type bulb might cast an odd pattern of light as compared to the T10 incandescent that it was replacing but this just wasn't the case. Once installed in the fixture which had a frosted glass cover you couldn't tell it was an led bulb next to the other incandescent bulbs that I left in the fixture for comparison. Light output and color was virtually identical to the other adjacent incandescent bulbs. It also runs very cool - you can grab it directly after it has been on for a few minutes and it is just warm to the touch.
I am very happy with the end result, 90% fewer watts and the color is perfect! I have purchased several of these and other models from LED Wholesalers (1401, 1109WW, 1438WW and 1439WW) to replace all of the other bulbs in other light fixtures on board my boat. I have a total of 18 lights on board each of which had a 10W incandescent or halogen bulb and when all turned on they would pull a total of 180W with the original incandescent bulbs! Now all 18 lights pull about 18W! 10% of the original power requirement and much brighter and more even light.
Overall I feel that these are very well designed lights that are well suited to a variable DC voltage environment like a car, RV or marine application.
