Chauvet Cyborg Review

This is a great product; it throws interesting patterns, and it filled our school cafeteria with nice light effects. However it gets really, really hot; after about 2 hours of running time one of the bulbs exploded and we now have bits of glass melted onto one of the internal reflectors.
If you buy one, I'd suggest planning to either run it intermittently or else alternating with another light so it gets a chance to cool down. And the manufacturer recommends not trying to touch it for at least 15 minutes after it's been shut off - I would consider that a minimum.

CHAUVET Line Dancer LED Review

I bought one of these just before the 2010 New Years eve party I was doing lighting for, not expecting it to even show up with all the other lights I had already. It was so bright and the patterns weaved their way around the other lights. It was so unique and added so much to the show that I bought another in January for the next dance. Now I can have one on the floor and one on the ceiling. A great light, super bright and very responsive to music. Chauvet does have a few duds in their LED lineup like the LED mushroom. That one was almost invisible it was so dim and made a grinding noise all the time. I highly recommend the LED Line Dancer though. I do have a regular Line Dancer with a standard bulb but this one is so much better, much larger lines and changes color while using 1/10 the power. It is also very quiet.
