Dual XIN6X93 3-Way 6 X 9 Speakers Review

Well, before I purchased these I asked a half dozen sellers if these used the power source from the speaker wires and a couple said yes...*WARNING* NO THEY DON'T! You have to use a completely seperate power source. Now it wasn't to hard, but it did take some time. I had to use the rear cigarette lighter source for the power supply. I literally pulled out the lighter holder, snipped it from the wires and used that as my ground and hot wire. works like a charm, but they stay on the entire time my car is on. No biggie though.
I must say the LED blue is super-neat looking and the speakers sound pretty good, as well. Nothing to write home about but I really wanted them for the blue LED anyway.

Add a dash of style as you bring the noise when you match your thumping car stereo system with this pair of Dual XIN6X93 three-way speakers, which accents its silver coloring with a unique blue illumination. The patent-pending illumiNITE technology constantly illuminates the speakers with blue LED lights when they are in use. These oblong speakers measure 6 x 9 inches and can handle up to 70 watts of RMS power (150 watts peak). It features a brushed metallized silver polypropylene cone with a black surround, ABS framed metal mesh grill, 25mm midrange, and 15mm tweeter.
Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder.

Pyle really put out an excellent product with the PLBW52 5.25 inch 200 watt speakers. The blue led lights are really cool at night and hit the beats with the music. I am impressed with this speaker set and I have 4 of them in my Jeep wranger, mated with a Kicker sub and 900 watt RMS amplifer. Sound is incredible. Pyle put the larger 30oz magnet in these speakers allowing higher watts/power to be received....I would recommend this speaker and I would buy again if I was in the market.
