(More customer reviews)This light is very bright. It is brighter than a mag light flash light. It will light up a big building a block a way. A must for any real mechanics box. The green light on the chargers ac plug is sopposed to turn green when charged but it was still red after 9 hours of first before use charge but was red and it would flash green when I wiggled the chargers wire I think it is just fine though.

(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of these headlamps for my hubby and I almost 10 years ago. We Love them. They fit nicely. These headlamps are Tough! We have dropped them on the cement and in to the lake and they continued to work perfectly! They Have 3 light settings. One of the lights is a red lamp which is great for night fishing because it doesn't scare the fish. We will continue to purchase this same headlamp as long as they are available. Which is what I am going to do today because....Well...We've had them for 10 years now and things do ware out. But hey 10 years!

Coast Cutlery TT7524CP UFO Light Pocket Size Review

SureFire E2D LED Defender E2DL-BK Flashlight 2010 Model 200 lumens Review

(More customer reviews)I've had my E2D LED Defender for about a year now and I'm very happy with it. After a year, I'm still on my first set of batteries and original bulb (note - I carry this often but use it only periodically, so your battery mileage may vary).
This is an excellent flashlight. It's light and compact enough to carry often, will slip into a pocket (including jeans with small pockets). Fit and finish and the overall 'feel' of the surefire is excellent. The light is EXTREMELY bright, and having the option of a less bright light (to use less battery power) is a huge plus. The 5 lumens mode is fine for most situations where you need a little illumination, and the 120 lumens provides the option of a truly bright light. I carry this often as a light, but also as a concealable impact weapon given the scalloped bezel and extremely bright light. I.e., if jogging at night, this is a great thing to carry for both a practical light and a defensive weapon, though note it would not be very useful against dogs.
4 stars - great product, I can't give it 5 stars because of the ridiculous price (other manufacturers such as Fenix make excellent lights at better prices, but overall the Surefire does offer fit and finish that I haven't encountered in other lights plus the scalloped bezel).

Terralux (TLXTLF3002AABK) 300 Lumen LightStar300 Flashlight with High/Low - Titanium Gray Review

(More customer reviews)Having owned the 3 watt 80 lumen one for a number of years I must say this is a much needed updated version! While as ususal I believe their measurements are off, the still have produced a fantastic little light! on low mode it more than enough light for general tasks and holy cow! on high its more than enough to permanently ruin your night vision! It sports better battery life, a more natural white light rather than your standard wash everything out for the sake of brightness white/blue deal, and still utilizes the standard 2AA battery! CHA_CHING!
While nothing is perfect ,like the fact you can no longer adjust the focus, its ugly, it cant be taken apart, and it has opted for a click styled switch verses a twist. IT IS worth every penny. Its simple and functional. It doest advertise a ton of complicated features that need to be reached with combination turns and clicks, It doesnt use an expensive hard to find battery.
Hopefully on the next edition we see
accurate measurement of lumens on high and low
a crenellated strike bezel
twist style cap, (I actually switched the end caps on my lights and now my lightstar has a momentary strobe, although it flashes between high and low every flash, it works well enough to signal at night or temporarily visually disable someone)
And a better design cause this thing is not easy on the eyes...
oh! and a better handle design! as is its to smooth but luckily it comes with a wriststrap so its cool for now.
In short...the orginal 80 loumen rayovac light case, with strike bezel, and lightstar 300 insides and a bulb that actually gave off 100/300 lumens...the perfect flashlight.

Streamlight (STL75768) C4 Stinger LED C4 LED Upgrade Kit Review

(More customer reviews)While it may work great in a Stinger LED, I purchased this on the understanding that it was an upgrade to LED for the Streamlight Stinger: "Streamlight (STL75768) SWITCH & LED ASSEMBLY FOR STINGERS" - "Product Description SWITCH & LED ASSEMBLY FOR STINGERS"
It says it's manufactured by Streamlight and was only $28! What I found out is that it is MISLABELED on Amazon, and in reality it is a C4 upgrade for the Stinger LED only! It is too long for the regular Stinger body. It fits inside, but the screws for the charging plate don't line up-and there aren't enough threads for the new lens assembly even if you leave the locking ring out. All the Stinger LED's I see advertised now have the C4 led, so it must have been for the very first Stinger LED's that came out? Now if I could just find a Stinger LED body ONLY...:-)

SureFire FM35 RED Filter for flashlights with 1.25" diameter bezel Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this filter for my Surefire G2. I use Surefire lights all the time and love them to death, but often need a red-lense light. Purchase this item, received it within 72 hours. Within 5 minutes of getting the package had it on my G2 and when I went to latch it on it snapped. The latch snapped into two pieces. Normally I'd return it except it was still snug on there, so I figured whatever, stupid but works isn't stupid, except when the red filter is down white light leaks out the side. Finally, to add insult to injury the latch to flip up the red filter almost always is jammed. Given Surefire's reputation and my previous experience I am very disappointed with this product. It works, just not to the standard that I expect from Surefire. Be careful when purchasing.

Astro Pneumatic 6320 Rechargeable 60 LED Work Light Review

The light it puts out is bright and at least equal to that of my old 100 watt incandescent, although the hue is more of a blue/white than the warmer light bulb. I like not having to route a power cord, although the light is taller than a traditional worklight.
The design is good - has a built-in hook, a sealed power switch, and after months of periodic use I've yet to need a single recharge.
The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect recommendation is the charger is a small power brick that plugs directly into the unit. I wish it had a "docking station" or docking hinge that would allow the charger to be positioned securely on my workbench. Then again, I'm sure that a charge base would add to the cost.

(More customer reviews)I have owned this TerraLux Worklight for several months and my opinion continues to worsen, although after a couple of weeks of use I could tell that it did not serve the implied function. It is bright IF you leave it plugged in during use. If you charge it, unplug it, and let it set for a day, the battery loses its charge; so do NOT rely on this as emergency lighting. There is no way to repair or replace the battery pack; according to their website you should "dispose of properly".
I would have already disposed of this worklight except it works okay if you keep it plugged in during use. My 30 year incadescent light bulb worklight works much better. The TerraLUX unit will NOT satisfy your need.
I definitely do NOT recommend this unit; suggest you keep looking for a much better unit.

(More customer reviews)Of the 7 work lights that I ordered 3 did not work. They have a feature called soft touch that allows the user to switch between spot mode and work light. The problem I have had is that the switching is too sensitive and the light constantly changes between modes making usage very difficult. I have a couple of units that work well and I like them very much. Other problems I have had would be automatic mode switching or flashing, one unit fried inside, one unit turns on sometimes.
I also don't like the lack of battery power indication on the flashlight.

Con: takes up a lot of space, and the light is dimmer than the common in-house night light. If the battery stays normally charged, then the battery life suffers so it won't stay on quite as long as one might expect. I find the connection to the car's socket to be poor: my car keeps pushing it out.
