(More customer reviews)I bought these to put on my mirrors to add more visibility to my turn signals and to serve as a reminder if I forget to cancel. They work beautifully, bright enough to be seen by people behind me but not so bright that they hurt my own eyes. I haven't tried them at night yet, but daytime was the main thing I was after. I stuck them to the upper outer edge of my mirrors and routed the wires down into the headlamp where the directional connectors are. It took a few minutes to determine which wire I needed to connect to, but it was pretty obvious thanks to the color coding. I wrapped the mirror stem with black tape to hide the wires and then wrapped tape around to secure the leads to to the other wires going into the headlamp. Looks great and does the job I intended just fine. Note: I used clear silicone to seal the open portions of the LED enclosures before sticking them to the mirrors, as per the online instructions.

(More customer reviews)After reviewing several distributors of 50ft rope lighting, this was what I wanted at a good price. The wiring is parallel, so one failed lamp does not black out the downstream lamps. (In fact, it survived one poorly aimed hammer blow with only 1 failed lamp.) The light is incandescent warm, not bothersome bright, but enough for accent lighting and navigation. We mounted it up on a trellis, where it is plenty of light for the dining table below (but I'd surround all 4 sides of the table). I looked at LCD lighting, but finally decided that it was too expensive.

(More customer reviews)It came in a clear rectangular tube and has red and black wires coming out of both ends. That's it. no directions or means to hook it up to anything. Which to some might not be a problem. But for me its a hassle. I wanted it so i could put it under a part of my desk to light up my work space for reading or homework. Which it's perfect for, now I just need to buy a switch and find somewhere to hook it up.

(More customer reviews)The LED's look great, and are pretty easy to use. The adhesive they come with is not particularly strong - at least it didn't hold well to the metal I was affixing it to. Since the LEDs have nothing protecting them, they are vulnerable to wear and tear. I affixed these to my bike and had a few get ripped off after loading the bike on the car carrier.

(More customer reviews)I initially purchased this item for use in the center console & glovebox of my truck. Now I will be using it for emergency lighting within my home as well. It can be mounted above a door jam, completely hidden (run the wires through the wall), yet provides enough lighting for safety when the power goes off.
I made a few current measurements. 3 LED (minimum strip size) consumes 24 mA. 300 LED (entire 16.4' roll) consumes 1.737 Amps. Each 3 LED section has a 150 Ohm resistor to limit current. A small SLA 12V battery will run a small strip for days/weeks.
Great product, very impressed.
