(More customer reviews)This is a great product. Do yourself a favor, don't bother with the included charger. Buy a BatteryMinder desulphating conditioning charger with a cigerette adapter. You can leave it plugged in continuously and the battery will be maintained in peak condition. Also, the "hum" mentioned by another reviewer is the cooling fan for the inverter which comes on during high loads.

The issue I have is: 1) The lights do not keep a memory of previous setting after power has been turned off. 2) Sometimes 2 of the led's will turn on as soon as power is connected. You have to turn off the light and then back on to clear this. 3) I think the cable that runs from the light to the control box should be longer as well as the power cable. The brightness is fine. You will see more light in a line in the direction the LED's are pointed. The neon tubes tend to reflect in all directions. But if the LED's hold up to their background they should never die in my lifetime or length of time I have my car.

You put it under the seat or in this case in the back floor board of 4 door truck. Works great lights up inside and does not bother the driver. Next we will buy some black light stickers and put a few inside the cab so they will glow in the dark with light on. The main thing is do not ever block view for driver. Great seller. Product was just as stated. 1970's here we come again.

(More customer reviews)I bought these to put on my mirrors to add more visibility to my turn signals and to serve as a reminder if I forget to cancel. They work beautifully, bright enough to be seen by people behind me but not so bright that they hurt my own eyes. I haven't tried them at night yet, but daytime was the main thing I was after. I stuck them to the upper outer edge of my mirrors and routed the wires down into the headlamp where the directional connectors are. It took a few minutes to determine which wire I needed to connect to, but it was pretty obvious thanks to the color coding. I wrapped the mirror stem with black tape to hide the wires and then wrapped tape around to secure the leads to to the other wires going into the headlamp. Looks great and does the job I intended just fine. Note: I used clear silicone to seal the open portions of the LED enclosures before sticking them to the mirrors, as per the online instructions.

The black tube has a decidedly sinister appearance perched upon the dash that i like.
I cannot comment on ease of installation as i had a garage do it.
Although i did mount the device myself before taking it to be installed so it would be exactly where i wanted it. I simply used velcro & it works great.
The light functions perfectly, flashing at the RPM setting you select with the dial at the rear of the tube. Flash is bright & easy to see even in daylight.
Light will stay on until you shift, nice.
I would like to see an optional & adjustable beep to accompany the flash of light, as an audible alert in case your eyes are diverted would be nice.
But it is what it is & thats good enough for me, sharp looking form & flawless functionality.

HELLA 005750991 500 Series 12V/55W Black Magic Halogen Driving Lamp Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I got these because they were cheap, and would look great on my black jeep. Hella is a reputable brand, so I figured it was a safe bet. After they are all installed I am overall happy, but I wouldn't recommend them to others.
These were a hassle to install, the switch that came with the pack was bad, and the grounds for the headlamps have way to short of wires. The directions are about as informative and helpful as listening to an automated messaging service!
These are not brighter that the headlights that come on the jeep, although they do add more light. If I were to do it all again I would just go with the either more expensive PIAA's or Lightforce, or for the wiring wary: go with the Warn Wireless ones. I spent the difference in price in added wires, testers, and a switch.

Product allows you to wire for LEDs only, Strobe only or together. Tried it all and strobe is still very low. My opinion: buy a unit with strobes only!

The two wires were red and black, but red wire was labelled "Negative" and the black wire was labelled "Positive". The labels were correct and wires were connected opposite to standard color convention for DC wiring. There is no switch on the fixture, so you must install your own, which can be difficult if you want it to look cosmetically appealing. It works ok and provides adequate light. Overall a bit disappointing, but it does the job.

The white LED indicates that there is voltage going through it, and is useful to add a little light to the area that is being tested. The red LED is for (+), and the green LED is for (-). The brightness of the red LED will help indicate how strong the voltage of the circuit being tested is. This test light is computer safe which is a must for modern electrical systems. It has a built in cigarette lighter style plug that has an internal fuse, and an adapter for connecting the tester directly to a battery. (More customer reviews)I got this kit because of the price and it looks like a reputable company. I was very right, great customer service and quality of product. I once had red neons for my last car, but I heard LED is brighter and better and boy is it ever. It isn't too bright and it's not too dim, it's perfect. LED lasts longer I believe to. Anyways, it took me about an hour to put these up because it was my first time and I had a hard time trying to find places to mount them. I eventually drilled 2 little holes on the side frame pinch and the front had a little fender lip to drill into. The back was definately the hardest to find a spot away from the exhaust. But overall it was a pretty simple install. Excellent control box for switching and it comes with a remote. The remote battery died on me before I got a chance to use it, but that could be because I have a bad habit of pushing the buttons a lot. The battery was also cheapy but I ordered a Duracell. It takes a 20v 70a or something like that. It's about the size of a AAA but cut in half. Anyways, the kit is great and the 7 color one would be cool for a girl, but I am a guy so I just got the all blue one because it looks great. Good luck!
